I hope everybody is looking forward as much as I am to the Regatta this weekend.
FRIDAY The Regatta “Fringe” actually starts on Friday with a Classic Yacht Race kicking off at 14.30 followed by Friendly Friday at 6pm, with the Dragonflies also being busy on the water. The bar will be open and there will be food available from the Galley. In order to help with catering please email Tim Archer (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let him know if you are coming. People who do not have boats or need to be in a boat with a helper, the Club Wayfarers are available please let Tim know if this is for you.
SATURDAY On Saturday, we will have a small ceremony at 18.30 to celebrate the completion of the work to upgrade the changing rooms (better late than never). There will be a ribbon to be cut and some celebratory fizz to toast the facilities and the people who have made it happen, so do come along to the Club Terrace at that time.
Shore Events on Saturday midday onwards and racing on both Saturday and Sunday.
