Just Go Sailing for adults in 2018
This will run on Saturday mornings (see dates below) from 9.30am until about midday. It’s an opportunity for adults to develop their sailing skills and gain the confidence to start racing should they want to.
Participants can use their own dinghy or use one of the Club boats (we have 2 Wayfarers, 2 Hartley 15s and a Laser Vago). Each session will be run by experienced volunteers available to give advice if you need it and accompany you if required. Safety cover will be provided.
There are nine sessions on Saturday mornings between May and September. The dates are in the Club’s 2018 Programme. The galley will be open for coffee and tea.
There is no cost, and it is open to non-members. Sailors must bring suitable clothing and footwear, but buoyancy aids can be borrowed.
The sessions will go ahead whatever the weather, though they might be shorter if the weather is bad. Oriel O’Loughlin is organising and she can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like a place in the club boats you will need to email by the preceding Tuesday. If you have your own boat, there is no need to book.
