We will be holding an open “Spring e-Sailing Club Championship” over the weekend of 25th & 26th April.
All members are very welcome to participate in what should be an enjoyable and social experience. Don’t worry if you think e-Sailing isn’t for you, give it a go and you may be pleasantly surprised.
This event is a part of a wider RYA initiative, with clubs across the country participating, and our “champion” will be invited to represent WSC in a regional qualifier event from 17th May. The initiative culminates with a national final on 30th May.
Are you new to Virtual Regatta?
You can read our guide to joining a private race here. Follow this guide to register before you enter below. Don’t forget, you can also practice in one of our Wednesday evening races or sail against competitors around the world in one of the open races on Virtual Regatta.
Notice of Race
Specifically for Waldringfield, heats will be held on the afternoon of Saturday April 25th and the finals on Sunday April 26th. Each heat will comprise 5 races, with 2 discards.
There is a limit of 20 participants in any race, so we expect that we will need to run a number of heats. In order to be able to allocate you into your heat, entries will CLOSE at 9pm on Wednesday 22nd April.
Entrants must have registered with Virtual Regatta, and provide their Virtual Regatta alias, so that we can score you correctly.
We will endeavour to advise participants of their heat’s start time and joining code by the evening of Friday 24th April.
