If you’re interested in joining the club, please visit https://membermojo.co.uk/waldringfieldsc or feel free to contact Cathy Fish on 01473 689657 or Jane Spark, either on 01728 638785 or by email at
Alternatively, you are most welcome to visit the clubhouse any Saturday afternoon during the sailing season from early March to the end of November. People will be only too happy to point you in the direction of one of the club’s officers.
The Club is very successfully run by volunteers who help with race management, manning the support boats or in the galley. All members are required to carry out three of these duties during the year.
Dinghy Parking & Moorings
We have limited beach-side dinghy parking space for the club-supported classes (Lark, Laser, Laser Radial, OK, Cadet & Wayfarer). Other classes can be accommodated in the cliff-top dinghy park. We do have some Wayfarer Trot moorings available. Other classes supported by the club are Squib and Dragonfly, for which we have limited moorings.
Children at Waldringfield
Parents and guardians are advised that the Club cannot be responsible for the conduct or safety of Junior members at any time. The club provides support boats for normal racing and other planned events. At other times there are no support boats provided.
Nevertheless, we are very proud of the level of junior membership at Waldringfield and welcome applications from all children who wish to join in with our sailing activities. Normally we would need a parent to join as well and be present to provide supervision and support, but if you know an existing club member who would be willing to act “in loco parentis” then that would be equally acceptable. Please contact Cathy or Jane, for more information at .
In Loco-Parentis Form
Please complete our In Loco Parentis form if you are placing your child(ren) in the care of an existing member while they are taking part in club activities.
Parental Consent Form
Please complete our Parental Consent form if you are adding children to your family membership for the first time and have not already completed one (e.g. as part of your membership application)
