Wildlife – Seals

Near Waldringfield a family of seals can be spotted all year round, often sunbathing pulled up on the mud. They sometimes poke their heads up for a look around during racing. They are often quite red in colour from the mud that is found round here.

They breed in the river and mums with pups can be found up river towards Woodbridge and down river near Kirton Creek where it tends to be a bit quieter.
